Why is it important to hire a licensed contract?
Contractors who perform home improvements who are not licensed are breaking the law. Hiring an unlicensed contractor can cause you unnecessary hardship. You have no recourse against an unlicensed contractor if you have any grievance. Our MHIC license number is 9075.

How thick do you make your driveways?
We pour newly replaced concrete driveways at 5″ thick using a 4000 PSI (6.5 bag) mix. New asphalt driveways are 3″ rolled to 2 1/2″. Resurfaced asphalt driveways are 2″ rolled to 1 1/2″.
What kind of guarantee do you have?
We guarantee all materials and workmanship to be the best quality available. We guarantee that we will perform all work as specified in our contract.

Do you accept credit cards?
No, we do not accept credit cards. We do accept personal checks.
Do you call MISS UTILITY to mark underground utilities?
We call MS.UTILITY prior to the start of a job if it states “Call MS.Utility” on your contract, not all jobs require this. MS.UTILITY will mark the following utilities; gas, electric, cable tv, phone lines, sewer and water. click to read more about MISS UTILITY.
When will my driveway job be scheduled?
Normally we give you a tentative date and when the date approaches we will contact you to confirm the actual date.
What if is raining the day my job is scheduled?
If it is raining in the morning we will make a decision based on local radar and forecasts. We however can start demolition of your driveway and then as the day goes on make a decision to complete the job or wait till the next workday.
How long will it take to install my new driveway?
Most concrete driveways are removed and replaced in the same day. Removing the forms and backfilling happen on the 2nd day. Asphalt driveways are also 2-3 days for new and 1 day for resurfacing.
When can I use my new F&M driveway?
Depending on the temperature you can use your new concrete driveway 7 to 10 days after the concrete has been poured. 7 days during the hotter months of the summer and 10 days during the milder temperatures of the spring and fall. New Asphalt driveways may used after 72 hours.
Why does my newly placed concrete have spots?
During the curing process your concrete may under go changes in appearance. The spots you see are the aggregate that are at the surface. As the concrete cures your driveway will become lighter and these spots will disappear.
